Logistics Service Agreement
Welcome to the legal framework of KENNEDY'S STORAGE & DELIVERY LLC. By utilizing our transportation and storage services, you're agreeing to the terms outlined below. We've kept things clear because transparency shouldn't be a luxury in logistics.
1. Scope of Freight Claims
How do we handle the unexpected? Claims for loss or damage during transit must be filed in writing within 17 days of delivery. Our liability is typically limited to industry standards unless additional cargo insurance is declared and paid for in advance. We take pride in our 99.8% damage-free delivery rate, but we're prepared for the 0.2%.
2. Storage Liens & Rights
Under standard warehousing regulations, KENNEDY'S STORAGE & DELIVERY LLC maintains a general lien on all property stored with us for all charges, including freight, storage, and insurance. Basically, we hold onto the goods until the account is settled. It's standard, but it's vital for maintaining our operational flow.
3. Transit Delays & Force Majeure
Traffic happens. Hurricanes happen. While our dispatchers are wizards, we aren't liable for delays caused by acts of God, public authorities, or disruptions in the national transportation network. We'll always communicate, but we won't compromise safety for speed during a blizzard.
